FPS LAG!it was about having the fps lagshocks that starts when joining game end after like 3 mins and starts again it freezes abit i got Intel pentium 4. 3.0 GHZ 3 GB RAM win xp pro 160 GB HDD Asus nvidia geforce 8400gs 512 MB as soon i join pb server these problem comes up i have manulay updated done every thing possiable any ideas? yep whrote the commpents and stuff done every thing still the samedo u think my vid card could run ET with out fps lag cuz i can reach 200 fps if i put it. and the lag starts as soon i get in server and pnkbstrA and pnkbsrtB some thing like that loads the fps lag start. rgds Farhan |

have you update pb manually and have you test pb_sleep 500 and pb_security 0there is tools to increase FPS like game accellator, game booster etc. do you have newer drivers to your computer ? |

well i have reinstalled Windows 2 days ago everything is up 2 datei dont think gamebooster is rly good idea it just brings Virus 2 ur pc thnx 4 the fast replies btw |

I know my old PC crashed because of the graphics card..only with punkbuster enabled...So it is possible i think. Maybe take a look that your PC also gets enough power, not that you use a power block with 5 wires connected to it incl. the pc (i did that lol) |

i dont use any wireless stuff the net cable coms direct in 2 my pc..dont rly get it.. u need these days Ultimate pc 2 run an old game like ET |

Very intresting problem you got  Have you tried chance your video card settings like AF ( Anisotropic filtering ) and AA ( Anti-Aliasing) mode? And i can maybe help you whit remote acces if its ok? (team viewer http://www.teamvi...ndex.aspx) |

i posted comment to you cfg and i think your cfg is the problem and you should test another cfg.Of course there is problem like virus and you should say that no one care. |

Ok we tested whit farhan that cfg wasnt the problem i checked little bit him computer and nothing specially found, So i next step is lets find is the X-fire the answer |

defrag your drive and clean it... you will gain a few extra FPS.Disconnect from xfires, msns while playing. Stop playing with PB on as it laagsss as hell. here is ur answere. //Kind regards, mAlolat |

tested with the lowest graphics the Amazon's.cfg,closed all the using sofware's xfire,msn all!i just reinstalled windows couple days ago... |
