Looking at the individual performances now, it was only natural for everyone’s stats to take a slight drop compared to the group stage, as they had to play against stronger opposition in the playoffs. Nevertheless, the order of things at the top didn’t change, as we have Playzone’s Dennis “dennis” Edman keeping the #1 spot after solid performance in the playoffs, especially on de_inferno vs cbteam. He also remained the player with the highest KPR (0.93). Just behind him is André “BARBARR” Möller from H2k, with 0.87 KPR (3rd) and 0.55 DPR (2nd), but he lost the Top AWP award with the second-best 83 awp kills, mostly because he played only 3 maps in the playoffs. After that we have EG’s Danny “fRoD” Montaner, the one who did take the Top AWP award with 99 awp kills and was also the player who survived the most rounds (46%). Another thing worth mentioning is his performance on de_nuke in the Final, which was, with a 1.92 rating, one of the best performances in the whole tournament. The 4th best player according to the rating was another EG player, Tomi “lurppis” Kovanen, who also takes the Top Fragger and Top Rifler awards, and has the 2nd best KPR (0.88). Only two more players kept their rating above 1.20 after the playoffs, which should be kind of the line between great and good performances, and those two were Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert of EG and Preben “prb” Gammelsæter from cbteam.

In the end I would like to pick the MVP of the tournament, and also have you guys make your choice on the matter, so I’ll nominate the top 4 players, as they stood out the most, for you to vote for.
So, my pick for the Most Valuable Player of the tournament is Danny “fRoD” Montaner, as he didn’t fall behind much in any aspect of the stats compared to the two players with better rating than his, and he has, unlike them, managed to win the event.
Who's your pick?

Be sure to check out the rest of the stats from the tournament here, and if you still can't decide who was the MVP, head over to the demo section and watch some of the matches to help yourself choose.
